Chased across continents. Heavy, you can’t escape your ancient blood. You can dance around it, cover it with drink. Move, fast, but you’ll never get away.

Head On’s the simmering tension as you stand at the train station waiting for someone to spit in your face the inevitable, “go back to where you came from”. But when your accent is as broad as beach they’d love to fight you on and you’re as bent as you can get, navigating two cultures and trying to eke out just enough space to breathe easy, your answer to them, to your family and to yourself is as likely to come via fist as it is verbal retort. .
